Cable Mills Condominiums
CABLE MILLS involves the revitalization of three historic mill buildings on a nine-acre site in Williamstown, Massachusetts that, when completed, will transform these former industrial buildings into the quintessential New England community. Nestled in the Berkshire Mountains, along the banks of the Green River, in the heart of the town of Williamstown (also appropriately known as "The Village Beautiful"), it will be a unique part of the fabric of Williamstown.
Cable Mills will be comprised of 82 new and renovated homes -- a dramatic transformation from its past as a factory making wire and cable dating back to the post Civil War era. A variety of home types – lofts, flats, townhomes and single-family style duplexes - will be created through both the adaptive re-use of the historic mill buildings and thoughtfully planned and designed new construction homes.
The history and natural beauty of the site are complemented by its location in the center of Williamstown, conveniently located within steps of Williams College, the renowned Taconic Golf Club, restaurants, shops, and more. The area abounds with cultural attractions including the Clark Art Institute, the Williams College Museum of Art, the summertime Williamstown Theater Festival, and the nearby Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art (MassMoCA) in North Adams.
Cable Mills will be a mixed-income community, with some home-ownership opportunities for families and individuals across a wide range of income levels, made possible in part by the cooperation and assistance of the Town of Williamstown and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

Dear Mr. Harsch:
I just want to tell you how pleased I have been with the Harsch Agency in both the buying and selling of my home(s) in this area.
Three years ago, my husband and I moved to Williamstown and bought a small home through Judy Peabody. We were impressed with her, and so when we decided to buy a larger home 18 months ago, we sought her out. Although many realtors may have given up on us through 18 months of house hunting, Judy persevered, and we found professionalism and kindness to be extraordinary. She rarely showed us homes that I disliked, and never tried to push homes on us. Last August, I was involved in a number of demanding professional commitments, and not availale much to look at homes. But when Judy called and told me that she had a home she KNEW I'd love, I took the time to look. She was right; we fell in love with the home and are buying it.
Similarly, I am impressed with the way in which Judy is handling the sale of our house, and also the speed and professionalism with which Martha is selling it. I have also found Polly to be extremely helpful with my multitude of questions, even though she isn't involved directly in either of my transactions.
Thank you for the services your company provides!
Sincerely,
Jennifer Trainer
